From the Clip Apple shows renewed commitment to games posted by Tyme:
Todd Hollenshead, id Software's CEO, has said Apple has changed its practices and shows signs of committing to supporting games on the Mac.
I can only hope this is true, although Apple is in the hardware business making sure games are on the OS X platform will do a lot for sales. Maybe even specific Mac only games, but that might be a long ways off. Better yet, let's get the developers to make cross platform games. Blizzard is wise enough to do so why can't others? Can it be so hard?

Renewed commitment? Maybe I missed an announcement, but when did Apple ever have a commitment to gaming to begin with?

So now we know the answer to the question:
"What is the most expensive way to play the fewest games?"

Sounds like a Jeopardy question.
