I don't usually get caught up in games too often, but right now it's Trism for the iPhone. Visit the website here. It's super-addicting and I can't seem to put it down. This is definitely a battery-drainer.

This is really screwed up and kills the legitimacy of gaming in general. The goal for games is to be challenging but for you to be able to advance if you're skillful. This pulls it down to the level of roulette.

Also it should be mentioned that the algorithm that the author used to find this out is somewhat flawed so it should be taken with a grain of salt.

This game looks so lo-fi there's gotta be a Flash version on the Web somewhere. I don't have an Xbox to play it on so that's my only hope.

I need to buy the wife a Wii fit. I've just decided.

I honestly still can't picture the Wii Fit as really "doing" anything. So... you balance on it, do some pushups, some ab plank exercises, but it's all centered around a board on the ground. Where's the allure?

I must be deficient in my gaming gene, but I played Mario Kart on Wii and wasn't that thrilled with it. Anybody else feel the same way?

GTA4 is such a major event that I find I don't find it hard to believe at all that April sales jumped that much. Nearly everyone I know who played an older version bought the new version and loves it.

I never really got into video games and I'm not sure why. I do know that games that I've played for years that Scrivs plays for 5 minutes we're equally good at, so perhaps it's just cause I suck at playing them.

Joe I love that game, haven't played in awhile though, but boy was it fun. I don't think I played it enough to have the same urges as you though, which is a real shame because that sounds like a lot of fun.

I never got into D&D but I was certainly into Magic The Gathering when I was younger which owed its existence to D&D I'd say.

Good work fuscom! I remember I was nasty at Madden on PS2 back in college, but Paul is a lot better than I am. He's got too much free time.

I never got into Sudoku, probably because I rarely have a pen on me to do little scratch calculations in the margins of the actual puzzle. When I see people furiously completing a Sudoku puzzle they're writing in numbers, erasing them, writing new ones in, etc.

Quake 1 was basically the first shooter game I ever played, I remember milking the demo for all it was worth back in the day.

I got a Wii a few weeks ago and it's awesome, a whole new kind of gameplay that's just unparalleled as far as inventiveness and interactivity. As far as 360 vs. PS3, that's a much more personal choice as they're up head-to-head against one another, so you'll have to do some soul searching :)

So after playing the Nintendo Wii down at Paul's house I can say that it's the one game system I desperately want. Wii baseball was so much fun I think I'd get tennis elbow or something if I played it as much as I wanted to.

Sweet can't wait to play it!

A new Flash golf game just launched called World Golf Tour and it's pretty slick, but doesn't let you play a full round of golf for some reason, just a closest-to-the-pin challenge. Scrivs is a soccer nut so maybe he can shed some light.

I've been raving over the PS3 for awhile, but the games for the 360 definitely look better. Tough call.

The ps3 and wii are on totally different planes marketed towards different people. I'd rather have a ps3 than a 360, but then besides one of those I definitely want a wii too (which is why I've got one on the way lol). People who want next generation gaming will always debate ps3 vs 360, but almost everyone wants a wii.

Oh and I consciously don't use or support microsoft anything, so that's another reason why I'd rather chew my arm off than buy a 360.

It basically boils down to the 360 being simply a console machine that is a step up from the original xbox, and the PS3 literally operating at supercomputer levels with the insane cell processor. I'm guessing none of you are hardware or microprocessor geeks otherwise this would be reason number 1. There is simply not a more powerful graphics pipeline available on the entire planet than the cell processor, it makes the 360 proc look like a pentium 1.

The PS3 is a steal at what it's priced at, and I think they need to do more to market this point. Look how much a Blu-Ray drive cost which is included in the PS3's price. Not to mention the Cell processor is one of the most incredible microprocessors ever created, designed directly for insane graphics capabilities.

So you get a 3.2Ghz Cell processor, Blu-Ray drive, immersive HD gaming experience, all on an Internet-enabled box for only $600.
